Some moments from the Ingebrigtsen family video collection are all famous.
Before storming to gold when 17-year-old Jakob high-fived old brother Henrik there was the time midway through last summer m final in Berlins Olympic Stadium.
At 2017, their Filip – younger than Henrik and elderly compared to Jakob – collapsed over the line in Londons Olympic Stadium as he became the first European to win a world 1500m trophy in 14 decades.
In March, Henrik dived full length together with Jakob, in a magnificent, if failed, attempt to steal the silver trophy in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow from Britains Chris OHare.
Others are less well known.
Filmed more than a decade before, a camcorder shot opens with three brothers in frame.
To the left, Henrik. On the right, Filip. In the middle, the earliest of the familys seven children.
Huddled around a desk, the teenagers, sporting matching tracksuits, critique a domestic youth event in which Kristoffer finished eighth.
Lets hear how it went in Oslo. Let us begin with Kristoffer, says a voice off screen.
No, replies Kristoffer, glowering down the lens.
It was a fantastic trip. You did not have some significant goals, did you? Did you? Says the voice.
No, no! Says Kristoffer, developing increasingly irritated.
The voice asks the boys to outline their goals.
And Kristoffer? Following his siblings have had their state it enquires.
We will make an effort not to come last, interjects Henrik.
I will not come in last! Yells Kristoffer, aiming a elbow knee.
Its a picture of the construction of European sports family dynasty.
The 1500m name that Jakob acquired at 2018 was passed from Filip, that was victorious two decades before . He in turn succeeded Henrik, who topped the podium.
All three thoughts for this weeks World Championships with Jakob and Filip Henrik linking them in the 5,000 m, where the trio are shots that are more and serious contenders such as medals.
Is not as clear, where this unexpected geyser of sporting success sprung from.
Surely, in Sandnes facing out on to the North Sea rising up , the Ingebrigtsens aggressive spirit was claustrophobic.
Kristoffer, Henrik, Filip, along with the younger Martin and Jakob, could race each other getting in and outside of their vehicle, when they were not fighting for supremacy on bikes in the swimming pool or around the track.
13, their Ingrid, is now training as a athlete. William, jokingly measured up for running shoes on his ultrasound scanning, is yet to start a sports career, but is still only five.
Professional sports family tradition is only 1 generation profound, though.
Their dad, Gjert – himself raised in a poor home – is a logistics manager. Tone, their mother, owns a set of salons.
I am not especially interested in sport, Gjert tells BBC Sport.
We are a typical household with a great deal of kids. We spent a lot of time outdoors, skiing, hiking around, visiting the mountains, cross-country ski, exercising outdoors… but its by coincidence. We never planned for anything
That shifted.
Because his sons sport has grown more severe has Gjert. He is now trainer, manager and also representative, dictating their event calendar, gruelling training sessions that are high-tempo and commercial deals.
It might be that Im rather strict in how I see things, he reflects.
The boys return to me and say:I want to be a European winner. I say:I wish to assist you, I can help you, however you have to do everything that I tell you.
If you dont, I cant have part of it. My ultimate purpose is to see each of the children succeed, to achieve their objectives. I reach mine if they accomplish their goals.
I stand out of other parents. I am very demanding and it is a sort of contract between me and the boys to help them be the very best they can be – but they have to endure me after them daily all year.
By entering into that bargain, Filip Henrik and Jakob have sold themselves entirely.
Filip remembers waking to do an hour of roller ski – a version of ski – until he headed to college.
Henrik remembers asking his dad to set up the mornings in addition to sessions in the afternoons. His father agreed, however, told them to not tell teachers unless they climbed worried that he pushed them too difficult.
Theres nothing covert about their commitment now. Each September, Gjert creates a training program for the next 12 months, laminating it to prevent any revisions. At each session he will be trackside, barking orders and collating specifics of his sons advancement and retrieval in a spreadsheet.
Within a bid to lure sponsors to finance the brothers careers, Gjert overcame his sons reluctance and enabled tv to shoot on a reality show.
Team Ingebrigtsen catches the anxieties which continue with Gjerts single-minded grip on his family.
In a awkward scene, Filip accuses him of conducting adictatorship as a trip to southern Europe with his girlfriend, who is sitting in the room, is quashed in favour of instruction.
In another, eldest son Kristoffer – who would deny sports to get a career in economics and a relative life of his – calls his own parentsdumb for having their seventh child, William, 25 years after his birth.
I think theyre doing so rather than going back and working on connections with the kids they have, he adds caustically.
Gjert provides as good as hes got.
He looks down the barrel at one point and says:I do not want to be an angry guy, I want to be a dad.
However, when an angry guy will deliver them their dreams, Ill tolerate that sacrifice.
He is nowhere near the athletic father to intertwine his success with that of his kids.
Mary Pierce andre Agassi and the Williams sisters are among the tennis stars who were driven to stardom by domineering father figures, but there are rewards in addition to dangers.
As fans of motorsport in general, and Lewis Hamilton in particular, Henrik Filip and Jakob will know the story of this five-time Formula 1 world champion and his dad.
Hamilton sacked his dad as his representative in 2010 after his climb had been masterminded by him to the surface. The pair barely talked for the following two decades, but have gradually reconciled, with the driver quoted in July as saying their relationship is that thebest weve ever had.
Is Gjert daddy behave justified by the ends of leading sporting careers?
Just how much of the impetus for his childrens sports comes from inside themselves and how much is adapting to the households all-consuming civilization?
There is not any simple answer. There is not any answer.
He will always be my dad. You can not take that hat off and say I am your trainer, says Filip. It is hard, but I believe, all in allit is more positives than negatives. He gives more as a mentor because he is also a dad – he constantly wants me to do my best and also has my best interests in mind.
Jakobs take is somewhat different.
There are tons of ups and downs and advantages and positive about using a father as a coach., he states. For other athletes I would not recommend it because it is too much difficult work and you want a father outside of conducting.
For today, and basically our entire lives, hes been a mentor because we have asked ourselves whats the most crucial – do we really want a family or do we would like to run fast?
Sons that run relationships which hold. Gjert, whos written a book entitled How To Boost Your World Champion, will expect both visions are realised in Doha. And past.
