Matteo Darmian has left Manchester United to sign for Parma on a student contract.
The 29-year-old, who signed from Torino at 2015, leaves Old Trafford later making 92 appearances for the club.
United are predicted to get #3.6m from the bargain, and have added a sell-on clause.
Darmian, who has 36 caps for Italy, performed just three occasions following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival as manager in December 2018 for United.
The defender failed to produce the squad at some of United’s first four matches.

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Southampton on Saturday, meaning they have only won two of their last 13 matches in all competitions. Nick Wright was to find a performance that exposed the openings in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
