Matteo Darmian has left Manchester United to register on a four-year contract for Parma.
After making 92 appearances for the team, Even the 29-year-old, who signed from Torino leaves Old Trafford.
United are predicted to receive #3.6m from the bargain, and have added a sell-on clause.
Darmian, who has 36 caps for Italy, performed just three times following the birth as director in December 2018 of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to get United.
The defender also failed to produce the squad at some of United’s first four matches.
A United announcement read:”Everybody at Manchester United would like to thank Matteo because of his support and wish him all the very best for the future.”
Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Southampton on Saturday, which means they’ve just won two of their last 13 games in all competitions. Nick Wright was St Mary’s to find a functionality that exposed the shortcomings in the squad of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
