Italy head trainer Conor O’Shea has named a side to face England in their Rugby World Cup warm-up match that was closing.
11 changes have been made by o’Shea to the side that lost 44-17 to France last weekend.
Gloucester scrum-half Callum Braley is set to receive his first cap for the Azzurri if they face England in St James’ Park on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Dean Budd will captain Italy in Newcastle and their opponents this weekend could go all of the way in Japan are believed by also the Benetton lock.
“In our view they will be in the past,” he explained. “They are one of the best teams , the way they play with game – they look like an extremely fluid and physical group.”
When asked which England players were the most threatening to confront, Budd included:”I think [Billy] Vunipola is probably number one.
“The benefit line he can make for the England boys, simply matching him and stopping him from going forward will be huge in order that they can not get that front ball.
“When they could set those backs alight then they are quite dangerous.”
