Because their postseason prospects are currently up in the atmosphere oakland would love for that to happen. A conflict with the Astros in the postseason would imply that they did quite good from now until October.

The Astros have been in a fantastic position and will go into the postseason among the very well-rounded teams. I’d have to say they are the most famous team. I shall take the clutchness of Justin Verlander over Clayton Kershaw any day in October, although It is possible to make the argument that it is the Dodgers.

It was not a pretty scene for Wade Miley in his latest showing. In general, 2019 has been a great season for Miley. He signed using a rival and is having one of the greatest seasons of his career. Miley will have an opportunity. Having said that, Miley did not seem as if he was prepared for October against the humble Mariners. He was trashed for 5 hits and 5 earned runs with no recording 1 out.
The Astros stormed all the way back to get a 11-9 triumph. A group like the Mariners make it easy to finish comebacks. However, against the boys, the Astros aren’t likely to have the same outcome. Note that it was the first match since June 22nd the Miley enabled more than just 3 runs. He moved 12 looks with less than 4 runs allowed.
Miley was solid against the Athletics in his profession, as they are hitting .203 in 128 at-bats. Oakland have recorded 8 runs in that time and only two home runs. I am under the impression that Miley is due for a reply against the A’s tonight. Oddly, the Astros’ bats are crimson against Roark in his profession. They are hitting .357 with a .403 OBP at 56 at-bats. Roark has been pitching well as getting traded to Oakland, however, as he enters Tuesday with a 2.70 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. As a Athletic, Roark has posted a 2.70 ERA and also 1.12 WHIP.
Roark hasn’t been good this past year. He’s got a 4.10 ERA in 63.2 innings complete, along with a 4.26 ERA on the road as an Athletic. Roark has prevented a bad start with the A far, but this looks like a spot where he’s exposed to getting hit hard. The Astros have shown that capability against Roark.
