The Oakland Raiders are planning to suspend receiver Antonio Brown on Wednesday Following an incident with general manager Mike Mayock, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
A letter had been posted by brown on social websites of a fine he received out of the team – sent by Mayock – while resolving a dispute with all the NFL over his 35, after he missed clinics. The picture was accompanied by the words”If your own team want to despise.”
Based on Schefter,” Brown’s Instagram post resulted in an exchange, which will result in additional discipline.
Brown’s bizarre pre-season started with him overlooking practices after suffering frostbite from penetrating a machine without the proper footwear.
He then threatened to give up the NFL because the group no longer deemed secure the helmet he used, but ultimately returned to practice after dropping the grievances.
It is currently unclear what suspension the Raiders will hand earlier this summer, to Brown, who had been acquired in the Pittsburgh Steelers for selections.
Oakland kick off his season with a home game against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, live on Sky Sports in 3.20am on Tuesday morning.
