Michael Hector will combine Fulham from London acquaintances Chelsea at January after signing a contract before 2022.
Even the has started coaching – that have the choice to extend his agreement for a further 12 months – until formally completing his move at the New Year.
After arriving at Craven Cottage, Hector told Fulham’s website:”It’s good to now be a part of the setup here. Things could work out well and we could get promoted.
“I know how hard the Championship is and it will not be something different for all of us. We are going to have to work hard to it but the squad is quite great and my job will be to assist them push for advertising.”
Hector joined Chelsea from Reading in 2015 but not played a competitive game.
He had bouts at Frankfurt Reading and Hull, also spent the vast majority of his time out on loan.
Hector, who has 30 caps for Jamaica, spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, where he won his player of the year award.
