Magical Established a class with a victory in the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes.

Aidan O’Brien’s filly has invested a lot of her admirable career to date pursuing the Permit at the best level – but her CV, she now has three Group One wins following this two-and-a-quarter-length success.
The favourite had a fantasy passage, and nearest to the speed producing much too much velocity for all those in behind after Ryan Moore.
From the O’Brien team chased her house, together with Magic Wand second and Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck another venture away in third – at 12-1 and 20-1 respectively.
Mare Deirdre was the unlucky horse in the race, immobilized for racing space once the pace quickened and then staying on best to finish fourth.
But there wasn’t any stopping Magical, that was a fashionable winner as she took good great advantage of Enable’s lack for after, in the process earning herself quotations of 6-1 out of 14-1 in Paddy Power and Betfairand should she attempt to carry on John Gosden’s mare again at next month’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
O’Brien stated:”We’re thrilled. She’d a midsummer fracture and her first encounter was at York. Permit was run by her and then we knew she was going to come forward a good bit.
“”She was only ready to visit York. Let is a wonderful filly and when we saw her running that we were excited about this race and also the autumn after that.
“We knew that she was going to be in real good shape for today and I couldn’t have been more happy with her.
“She is a lovely filly. We understand she receives a half and the mile and manages an ease from the floor, she was back into a mile and a quarter today on earth and Ryan gave a beautiful, uncomplicated ride to her.
“She’d really come forward from York. She came out and quickened how she did and travelled like that, Ryan said she doesn’t do much in front, she’s a really exciting filly.
“This is the second race of her fall campaign program and she’s really something to look forward to.
“The plan was supposed to visit the Arc from here, but typically what happens is that we notice how they come from it, talk about the lads and they find out if they remain about the programme or go another way.
“It’s something great to have to consider.”
