We picked up a win when that the Los Angeles Dodgers were endorsed by us against the Washington Nationals on the road. Washington chose at the last minute to scratch on Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer, and instead go with their number four guy, Anibal Sanchez.
That signaled that the Nats were throwing the towel game three, and instead, resting up their starters for the games four and five. So, I felt just like that the Dodgers were the prohibitive favorites, and endorsed the Dodgers and Hyun-jin Ryu.
As, through five innings, they held a 2-1 lead, However, the Nationals ended up with a decision. So, instead of keeping of resting up for a big push later in the show, to their plan, they made a decision to bring in starter Patrick Corbin from the bullpen in the sixth inning, to try and steal the game. Even the Nationals bullpen is bad for a team, and theyve used starters Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg out of the bullpen in this postseason to success.
But last nightthe gamble didnt pay off for Washington as Corbin got blasted for six runs in under an inning pitched, and the Nationals went from a lead. It is easy to armchair quarterback this one after the truth, however, the chance to steal the match was seen by the Nationals, and theyve made it clear that they are going to utilize their pitching team in manners.
So, I know that the move. But now as they venture into games four and five, both as must-wins, they have yet another weapon to lean on, as Corbin shouldnt be available now. For the selection of today, we will stay here with the NLDS and break down match four between the Nats and the Dodgers.

When you have an absolute sport, there are men you would turn into than Max Scherzer. Mad Max hasnt one, not two, but three Cy Young Awards in his trophy case and has been among the best arms in the National League because joining the Nationals. He has finished in the top five of their Cy Young voting for six successive seasons, and the sole reason this season he may not end up in the top five is that he missed significant time.

He was strong because he threw seven innings and had one start against LA this year, allowed two runs, and struck out seven. The game was won by the Nationals.
And winning is something the Nationals do a great deal as theyre 12-3 in his final fifteen starts of if Max pitches. It seemed like the Nationals gave up the sport to put up themselves to win games four and five. And that I agreed with this plan. They were willing to get rid of the struggle to provide themselves a better chance at winning the war. And I really feel as the Dodgers are actually doing exactly the identical thing . With a monster like Max Scherzer about the mound, it was going to be tough to win the game.
