Andre Fabre is under no illusions about the task because he attempts to renew rivalry with all the Enable in next month Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe facing Waldgeist.

“He did everything right,” said Fabre.
“The idea was to have an extremely eloquent race without being overly hard and he had it, therefore there’s little else to say.
“It was what we wanted before the Arc. He will come up against Permit and what can we say about her? She will be difficult to conquer 23, if Permit runs into her regular amount of shape from the Arc afterward.
“We’ve run against her three days and she has won all them. Can we conquer her? I really don’t know, it is the same for everyone.
“After the Arc he’ll probably visit the Breeders’ Cup .”
