Whereas Clare and Kildare have confirmed their bosses, rory Gallagher was called as the new director of the Derry senior footballers.
Fermanagh manager Gallagher and ex-Donegal may take the reins from the Oak-Leaf County, in what’s regarded as an exciting endeavor.
He takes over from Damian McErlain, who resigned following two seasons at the helm. The Ulster County enjoyed a 2019 effort, winning Division 4 of the National League and shoving against Tyrone hard.
After providing two seasons of real progress, gallagher will likely be tasked with continued their increase.
Meanwhile, the Jack O’Connor, three-time All-Ireland winning supervisor will succeed Cian O’Neill in Kildare. The Kerry native was confirmed last month, pending ratification from the county board.
Elsewhere, Colm Collins will return to the Banner County for a season. Collins was non-committal after the qualifier reduction to Meath this summer, suggesting he would require time to make his mind up. It had been verified on Tuesday he would continue.
Watch Dublin vs Kerry at the All-Ireland final replay live on Sky Sports on Saturday, September 14.
