Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has retired from football after a short bout with side Zenit St Petersburg at age 33.
Marchisio stopped his stay Juve last year after spending 25 years at the club at which he also won seven Serie A titles in addition to four Cups. He made 55 caps for Italy, the last of which has been in 2017.
