About the Lodge
Argentina Dove Hunting at Estancia Los Chanares is a "Must" for the serious Argentina bird hunter, first time or young dove hunting son or daughter and the seasoned gentleman who can't walk far to the dove hunting fields.
The "Drive Time" to the hunting areas is only 5-10 minutes to millions of dove. This very short drive allows you to hunt in the morning, have a nice lunch and siesta at the Estancia and then return to the dove shooting areas for the afternoon bird hunting. Since Estancia Los Chanares is never more than 10 minutes away, you are free to go back at any time via Golf Cart or Van. You will find most other Argentina Dove hunting outfitters will have extreme long drives up 1.5 hours each way to their dove hunting fields. This means you spend up to 3-hours in a car with most other outfitters!
While most dove hunters stay and try and run out of shotgun shells (don’t worry, we always have plenty on hand), the close proximity of the Estancia is an asset to the younger and older hunters alike. Youngsters, dads, moms, grandpas, grandmas, aunts and uncles are all welcome – make it a family hunting vacation. Please ask about our Special Discounts during the low season, children's discounts and discounts for larger groups.

LODGE INFORMATION
Our luxurious lodge has ten (10) bedrooms each with two (2) twin size beds and a private bathroom. Private lodge must be purchased for $8,800 per day in the high season and $6,800 per day in the low season.
For a group of 18, the savings per person is $301 per day in the high season ($790.00 per day instead of $700) and $150 per day in the low season ($375 per day instead of $525).
TEMPORARY GUN ENTRY PERMITS & HUNTING LICENCES:
Taking your favorite guns into Argentina is very simple: Hunters are allowed to introduce up to three guns, on a temporary basis. The gun’s manufacturer, model, gauge, serial number and the passenger’s name and passport number must be provided to our offices at least 45 days before the arrival date. Hunting permits are processed prior to your arrival. Upon request, you will receive our shooting Questionnaire to fill out with this information.
SUGGESTED CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT
Shorts and/or pants, long and/or short-sleeve shirts in camouflage patterns or dark green (no khaki or light-colored shirts or hats in the field, please), light hunting boots, ear-plugs, sun glasses, sun screen, insect repellent, shooting gloves, shoulder pads, shell pouch, gun cleaning kit, wide-brim hat or cap, light rain gear.
Please note that after June and until mid October, it is winter time in Argentina, you will need warm clothes; average temperatures during these months is low 50’s, mornings and nights; and high 60’s during the day. But, cold fronts below 50° F can be expected.
PAYMENT POLICIES
A 50% Deposit is required to reserve your requested hunt dates. The Deposit is not refundable. Full payment is due 60 days in advance of your scheduled hunt. We recommend trip cancellation insurance, available from your insurance carrier, travel agency or booking agency.
The only acceptable method of payment after arrival at the Los Chanares lodge for shells, gun rental, hunting license, and pro shop items is cash, personal checks, or travelers checks. A service charge of 2.5 % will be charged for all personal checks, and 3% for traveler’s checks. These are what the local banks charge us to cash the checks; we regret any inconvenience.
