Heath Painter and Keith Powell with us in the Kruger National Park
Heath Painter (Presenter) and Keith Powell (President) of SPORTSMEN of NORTH AMERICA have just completed yet another memorable hunting and fishing adventure with the Hunting Legends team, in South Africa and Mozambique. What an experience, combined with great hunting and fishing, we simply had a blast. And listen up, there are big plans in the making for both Sportsmen of North America and Hunting Legends.
Keith Powell not only did his first Cape Buffalo during this trip and some deep sea fishing off the coast of Mozambique, but also used this opportunity to invest substantially in time, money and effort, putting together one of the best hunting & fishing marketing campaigns Africa will ever see. That's right folks, a Marketing Campaign and Television Show you will soon be watching on your favorite hunting channels.
Sportsmen of North America are in the process of launching a brand new, state of the art and most brilliant website and marketing platform the industry has ever seen. Combined with Television and dynamic new customer service and experience programs, the SNA Team will be bringing you the best in Africa Hunting.
We had the time of our life with Keith and his team, fishing amongst the islands in Mozambique, Cape Buffalo hunting and Lions galore! Three lions were taken during this trip by friends from New York, and all of this is on Video, soon to be hosted on National TV in America.

Keith,
It was very disapointing to see you take your trophy impala taken with a rifle shot from the Land Cruiser as well as well as harvesting a magestic Kudu from a ground blind over water! (Where was your bow?) I have made numerous safaris and I have yet to meet a PH that would discard fair chase, spot & stalk ethics in rifle hunting with healthy, able bodied individuals. My 11 year old daughter and 14 year old son have never taken plainsgame in Africa in such a manner. This is a black eye for your PH while you may have been unaware of the unwritten rules of African hunting. I will, however, give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you simply were ignorant of this noble tradition. I would encourage you to reconsider airing future african adventures depicting this. I do condone and appreciate allowing elderly or challenged individuals to hunt from a truck or over water with a rifle. Shame on your PH and outfitter! You may choose to discard my opinion and that is certainly your right but I would ask you to consider carefully this ideal in your quest for you and others to “Be the legend”.
Great site. Wilderness Recipes has loads of wild game recipes from venison to groundhog. No lion recipes yet… Stop by and submit yours
Hey everyone, nice job on the site….
