Phillip,
Greetings my friend. I have tried on several occasions to respond in your news letter thing, but with little success other than the blurb about the leopard. I know I said it before and I’ll say it again, but for your tracking skills, we probably wouldn’t have been able to collect that nice bull elephant, at least not on that day. Looking back, I can see the many difficulties that you all and Kobus overcame regarding that particular hunt with the personalities involved. I can only repeat, GOOD JOB and Thank You. I have written an article and plan to publish it in the local Safari Club paper, with your permission. If you want to review it before then, please let me know and I’ll forward a copy, via E-mail or the regular mail. It’s ten pages long and is as accurate as I can remember. I know my perspective is a little skewed as it is what I saw and what I remember. But it was a GREAT hunt and a fabulous time. All of you contributed to it in the various things that you did. Hope you are enjoying the day. I know that you proboably are not doing the Thanksgiving thing as it is an American Holiday. If you were here, you would be at my house, stuffing yourself. Well, maybe another time. Talk to you soon.
